The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors related to dietary behaviors in lunch. Survey was carried out by questionnaire and the subjects were 118 male and 95 female college students in Cheong-Ju. Some results obtained are as follows : 1) The age, mother’s educational level, mother’s age, and pocket money per month of male students were significantly higher than those of female students. 2) Both male and female students ate lunch out because it was inconvenient to carry a lunch box. There were significant differences between male and female students in the contents of lunch, eating place, and the problem of eating out. Male students ate more likely cooked rice than female students. Female students ate more likely lunch out at campus restaurant than male students. Almost 50% of female and male students pointed out that the shortage of nutrition was the problem of eating lunch out. 3) Their pocket money per month was positively related to the food expenses. 4) The place of eating lunch out was significantly related to the pocket money, food expenses, the problem of eating out, and satisfaction with their food. 5) The contents of eating lunch out were significantly related to the pocket money and satisfaction with their food.
