The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of practicing the learned practical arts and to identify its related variables. The sample for this study consisted of 468 sixth grade elementary school students from 4 resident areas with big-size, medium-size, small-size cities, and country side. The sample was surveyed using a questionnaire which consisted of two sections including practicing the learned practical arts statements and demographic information related statements. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and analysis of variance were utilized with post hoc multiple comparison procedures with an a priori alpha level of .05. The following conclusions were drawn from this study. 1. The level of practicing the learned practical arts was just beyond the theoretical average of the instrument. 2. The variables associated with practicing the learned practical arts were found including gender difference, perceived the practical arts subject achievement, practicing intent, social economic status, parents’ encouragement, and home equipment and facility level of the respondents. 3. Female students’ level of practicing the learned practical arts was a little higher than that of male students. 4. The higher the perceived practical arts subject achievement, the higher the level of practicing after learning practical arts subject. 5. The higher the level of students’ intent to practice, the higher the level of practicing after learning practical arts subject. 6. Stu-dents who perceived their social economic status as more stable had higher level of practicing. 7. Students who had more positive encouragement from their parents had higher level of practicing. 8. Students who had more home equipment and facility had higher level of practicing.
