The purpose of this study was to analyze a change of general agricultural contents through practical arts subjects and curriculum from 1st to 7th, to have a view of the future of general agricultural contents. The major findings of the study were as follows ; (1) The contents of general agricultural education should select the practical elements that are able to apply in living environment if possible. (2) General agricultural education should change the contents to the development of students’ latent capacities, the extension of handling, creation and problem solving ability. And it should contain principle and value of general agriculture, life science technology, sustainable agriculture etc. (3) Subject matter of general agricultural education should consider the adequate quantity and level of general agricultural contents, and it should have the connection between 5 and 6 grade, consist of the contents with subjects in the center. present the contents that consist of an illustration and an explanation abreast.
