The construction and usage of digital library are rapidly increasing all over the world. This paper introduces the concept of digital library and describes the present state of national library, private library, and university library in Korea. Additionally the library of Chonbuk national university is presented in detail. Finally we discuss how digital library can be used in the educational field.
