The purpose of this study was to examine in what extent class teachers, who were teaching practical arts, were interested in practical arts education in classroom management sector and in which way that education was being carried out. The subjects in this study were 400 teachers who were serving at schools randomly selected from the city of Taegu and North Kyungsang Province. The half were working in Taegu, and the other half were serving in North Kyongsang Province. The classroom management was divided into several areas: subject matter education, guidance, extracurricular activity instruction, environmental and facility management, relationship with community and classroom affairs administration. Questionnaire was prepared with 30 items and used to survey the classroom management performance of the teachers in consideration of gender, teacher career, grade in charge, experience of teaching practical arts, and service area.
