실과교육 평가에서의 컴퓨터 활용 가능성

The Possibility of the Utilizing Computer in Practical Arts Education Testing

As the computer has come to affect many aspects of society during the last decade, so too it has had an impact on testing. Testing has rapidly developed in both theory and practice by application of computer. One of the prominent recent trends in educational measurement is to apply advanced technology, especially like the using of computers in testing. This study primarily deals with the application possibility of the computer in practical arts education testing. Next, it will attempt a review of the evolution and inquiry perspectives of practical arts education testing, focused on such topics as: ① Three development stages- computer assisted test, computerized testing, computerized adaptive testing- are explained in detail ② Advantage and limitations of the application of the computer in testing ③ Provide interpretive comments, diagnostics and prescriptive information for all testing which include cognitive, affective, psychomotor. ④ Finally, some suggestions for optimal use of computers in testing. In short, it still needs the further study about theoretical foundations and experimental evidences for utilizing computer in practical arts education testing on the instructional and evaluational viewpoints.
