The purpose of this study was to investigate the concept and the necessity of study skill which the elementary school students with mild disabilities, to show several different study skills which elementary school students with mild disabilities, and to make examples based on the Practical Arts subject for each kind of study skills so that elementary school teachers would be able to apply each of study skills in their classes. In this study, total of 9 study skills were researched including ‘reading in different speeds’, ‘listening’, ‘note taking/outlining’, ‘assignment preparation’, ‘vocal presentation’, ‘utilizing supplemental graphic aids’, ‘taking a test’, ‘time management’, and ‘managing behavior’. Also, an example for the study skill applied program, which was developed using Practical Arts subject, was suggested.
