Developing Teaching-Learning Materials with Multimedia and Their Application in the Elementary Practical Arts Education

The purpose of this study was to help using various teaching materials with multimedia in the elementary practical arts classrooms by developing and discussing their application. The three lesson units and teaching materials with multimedia have been developed and their applications for individualized learning and self-directed learning at the exercising living skill area in the practical arts education have been proposed. The three lesson units are making goods with sewing machine, simple cuisine, and wood crafts in the 7th practical arts education curriculum amendment. The developed teaching materials in this study would shed on the light for enhancing the quality of teaching and learning practical arts education in the elementary schools. The research for aiding the learning abilities by using various materials with multimedia and the scientific analysis for verifying the effectiveness of the materials should be continued.
