The purposes of this study were to identify the actual condition of general agricultural education, to present the new directions of its for agricultural recognition in elementary schools. The major findings of the study were as follows ; (1) Agricultural education scholar, school executives, teachers, and parents should investigate character of general agricultural education with concern and zeal. (2) Specialists and elementary school teachers should write and compile general agricultural education materials that contain curriculum contents through a long term research. (3) Ministry of human resources development should support. elementary schools in the financial and executive aspect, guarantee participation of general agricultural education in-service training Toward this, general agricultural education should be closely connected with educational university, elementary school, and educational institute
