외국 초등학교 학생들의 기술에 대한 인지도 연구 분석

An Analysis of the Studies on Foreign Elementary School Students’ Attitudes and Perceptions towards Technology

The purpose of this study was to synthesize the previous studies and to identify key issues for future studies of the elementary students’ attitudes and perceptions towards technology. The criterion for selected target studies and data coding method were established systematically. Twenty-one eligible studies identified were analyzed qualitatively. Frequency analysis, topical description, and relationship analysis were employed. An extensive literature search and the validation of the coding sheets were done to improve the reliability and validity. The findings revealed that the gender, concept of technology, professional aspiration, course taking, and father’s profession had an effect on the elementary students’ perceptions toward technology. Boys showed more positive views on the attitudinal scales of interest, consequences, career, and curriculum than did girls, while girls had non-stereotypical view of technology as an activity for boys and girls to a greater extent than the boys. It was indicated that elementary school students showed weak responses on the questions with negative form and on five-point Likert type scale. And four recommendations were derived based on the study conclusions.
