The objectives of the study were to analyse all sorts of trees, to grasp its’ the actual condition and problems, and to reconstruct afforestation environment for improvement of educational environment in educational university. This study was carried out through review of literature, survey(students 175 that take lecture), and several meeting that confer with related specialists(professors 3, executive officer 1, landscape professionalists 2). GNUE(Gwangju National University of Education) has had many trees. The greater part of the trees is evergreen conifer contain Chinese juniper, Himalaya cedar, Japanese red pine etc. And, Many trees was planted ‘unfittingly and inharmoniously. Therefore, to improve the educational environment, evergreen conifers should be decreased, decided trees such as Japanese cherry, Tulip tree, Chinese fringe tree, Indian lilac, Lily tree, Silk tree etc should be increased. And trees should be planted fittingly and harmoniously with school buildings.
