The Study on Development of Creativity Program for Practical Arts Education

The purpose of this study is to find the effects of creativity program for the contents and the subject to agree with the instruction of practical arts intended for elementary student. The difference between the study and published study related to creativity is that students have four fields learning motive such as life science, reapplication of resource, learning implement, scientific toy and for problem solving they discussed with each other as a member, a couple, and their family the subject program for practical arts. For the experiment, the pretest-posttest control group design was used. They met together to discuss for analyzing the instruction one time per week. The results of the study are summarized as follows: First, for the four-sub-factor such as openness, fluency, flexibility and originality, the experimental group showed statistically meaningful increase between the pre-and post-test mean scores, but the controlled did not. Second, the pre-and post-test scores didn’t show any meaningful difference between male and female students. Third, creativity program to apply the practical arts might help to find and to solve the learning problem in real life and it exerted an affirmative influence on a product of a new idea. The results show that instruction model of practical arts to reconstruct problems of the real life and to apply the creative problem solving models increase the creativity.
