The purpose of this study was to get ideas of solutions of the problems in the practical arts education in Korea by comparing the practical arts education elements in foreign countries. The method for this study was the comparative research. The conclusions of this study was as follows : 1.there must be a national curriculum freeing teachers from educational government’s control. 2. there must be a plan raising teachers’ competencies to utilize the school curriculum. 3. elementary school must equip the facilities for practical arts education. 4. the national curriculum must be developed to continue the practical arts education from the first grade to the tenth grade of students. 5. the curriculum of practical arts education should be revised based upon the integration education. 6. the content of practical arts education should be same in secondary education as in elementary education.
