초등학교 예비교사들의 눈에 비친 실과교과의 이미지

A Study on the Image of Practical Arts Subject Reflected to the Eyes of Trainee Teachers for Elementary School

The purpose of this study was to investigate the image of practical arts subject reflected to the eyes of middle school students. The population for this study consisted of all 2th, 3th, and 4th trainee teachers currently attending at national university of education nationwide. A purposive sample of 207 trainee teachers was chosen for this study. A survey instrument was mainly developed from the review of literature review to collect data. Generally, images of practical arts subject which trainee teachers have in their mind was identified as something about interesting, valuable, practical, productive, and cooperative, not new, simple, and noisy. Images of technology area was summarized as hard, difficult, cold, complicated, and noisy. Images of home economics area was summarized as interesting, smooth, valuable, and practical. And last, images of life area was summarized as safe, emotional. Boy students’ image level in the area of interest and intimacy within the technology area was more high than that of girl students. Girl students’ image level in the area of interest and intimacy within the home economics was more high than that of boy students.
