The purpose of this study was to analyze trainee-teachers’ satisfactory level about practical arts instruction in a college of education. The population for this study consisted of all the 3th, 4th grade trainee-teachers currently attending at nationwide colleges of education. A random sample of 900 trainee-teachers was chosen for this study. A survey instrument was developed from the review of literature to collect data. The trainee-teachers’ satisfactory level about practical arts instruction was a little more than the average but was much lower than one expected. Generally speaking, satisfactory level in the area of ‘participating chance of practice’, ‘lecture preparation of professors’, and ‘a fair evaluation of achievement’ was relatively high. In the meanwhile, satisfactory level in the area of ‘an interesting unfolding of instruction’, ‘a use of various instruction material’, and ‘a proper instigation of motive’ was relatively low. Satisfactory level of trainee-teachers majoring in practical arts education was much higher than that of trainee-teachers non-majoring in practical arts education. And, 4th grade and male trainee-teachers were largely more satisfied with practical arts instruction than 3th grade and female trainee-teachers. According to the statistic analysis, there was a definite difference among nationwide colleges of education in the satisfactory level.
