Development and Application of the Course Model Based on Team Project for Developing Web Coursewares in Practical Arts Education

It is very important that pre-service teacher build the developmental ability of digital material. This is possible by completion of a organized course in undergraduate days. The purpose of this study was to develop course model based on team project for developing web coursewares in practical arts education. First, we studied the theory about courseware design, and discussed web coursewares development model and performance strategy based on team project for developing coursewares. Next, it was proposed course model based on team project for developing web coursewares in practical arts education. This model was developed for applying to lectures of one term in the department of practical arts education. This course model was composed of three phases as follows: theoretical lecture, demonstrationㆍpractice, and team project. Each Phase of this model was progressed successively and kept pace with partially. In the end of this study, the course model was applied to ‘courseware development’ course in practical arts education for fifteen weeks, and it was described concretely the process of application and discussed the results of application and survey. The application of the course model based on team project was very affirmative. The evaluation about the course was very successful, but it was founded there were some problems should be improved and modified partially. If similar course would be planned later on, it should be made more careful plan to minimized these problems.
