Analysis of ICT Area in Practical Arts Textbooks for Elementary School based on the ISSS

The purpose of this study was to propose the direction of design of ICT area in practical arts textbook for elementary school. This study was conducted through referring to related literatures and using text analysis of practical arts for 5th to the 6th grades. The domain and criterion of text analysis was the ISSS. The results of this study were as follows; The consensus rate of textbook and ISSS was high in the domain of ‘Information transmit & share’ and ‘Information analysis & production’. And the consensus rate was not high in the domain of ‘Information search’ and ‘Information morality & protection’. In the domain of ‘Information search’, ① using local network, ② setting network drive should supplied. And, ① compression & cancellation, ② using various compression programs should added. In the domain of ‘Information morality & protection’, ① protection of computer virus, ② protection of personal information should supplied.
