The Development Model of a Practical Arts Education Programfor the Discretional Activities

The purpose of this study was to develop the development model of a practical arts education program for the discretional activities. For this, the concrete goals of this study were to consider between practical arts education and discretional activities, to analyse the concepts of the program and the practical arts education program, the program development theory and types for the discretional activities. This study used review of literatures related to practical arts education, discretional activities, program development to accomplish these research goals. The major stages of the development model of a practical arts education program for the discretional activities were as follows; (1) stage Ⅰ : program planning, (2) stage Ⅱ : program design, (3) stage Ⅲ : program execution, (4) stage Ⅳ : program evaluation. Stage Ⅰ is composed of pre-survey, curriculum analysis, priority, program schedule, Ⅱ is composed of preparation, design, organization, Ⅲ is composed of preparation, management, and Ⅳ is composed of preparation, execution, result application.
