문제중심학습(PBL)을 교육대학교 ‘초등 생활기술 교육(ESTE)’에 적용하기 위한 방안모색

Purpose of this study was to explore for the application plan of PBL(Problem Based Learning) to ‘ESTE(Elementary School Technology Education)’ at National University of Education. This study was carried out through literature review and analysis of materials related to PBL and ESTE. It was identified that there were some similarities between PBL and ESTE at the aspects of emphasizing a creative problem solving skill, emphasizing the integrative approach to the real world and other subjects. So, the application of PBL to ESTE at National University of Education could be concluded that it had a high validity logically. The major recommendations for the wide application of PBL to ESTE at National University of Education were as follows; the development of teaching materials involving PBL problems, the development of PBL model suited for ESTE, a technology professors’ enough understanding about PBL, an application of authentic assessment about learners’ achievement, and an excavation and marketing of successful PBL cases.
