The purpose of this study was to develop the discussion regarding the whole-brain based education the cognitive style based education, which are very effective and efficient teaching-learning methods in elementary schools, and to search the ways of applying those methods in elementary school classrooms. The major research methods used in this study were the literature review for the whole-brain based teaching-learning plan and the experiment research method for the cognitive style based teaching-learning plan. The results of this study were as follows: 1. There were various ways to apply the whole-brain based education ; 2. The creativity level of students, who were educated with the whole-brain based teaching-learning methods, was increased ; 3. Academic accomplishment level of field-independent students was higher in the problem solving method than in other teaching learning methods because the field-independent students were very analytic thinkers and inner motivators ; 4. Academic accomplishment level of field-dependent students was higher in the general teaching-learning method than in other teaching learning methods because the field-dependent students were very passive learners and they achieved better when most of learning elements were provided.
