Elementary School Student’s Level of KAP Towards Environmental Pollution

The purpose of this study was to examine elementary school student’s level of KAP towards environmental pollution. The subjects were 850 students selected equivalently from each group attending in 5th or 6th grade in an elementary school. To achieve the goal, it selected 20 questions through difficulty test and discrimination test in the knowledge (K) section. The reliability of 10 general questions was shown to be .71, The credibility of attitude (A) section was .93 and the section of practice (P) was .84. The conclusion of this research is that, general average of KAP turned out to be 3.99 / 5.00. The sections of K, A was relatively higher, and P section was lover. It proved that four independent variables were in relation to dependent variable, that is student’s practice, in amount of 32.5% as it conducted correlation analysis. The attitude of student was the highest (.315) in 13 values, representing the relative significance between sub-features, followed by in the sequence of parent’s level of practice, student’s environmental consciousness, teacher’s level of practice.
