Design of Concentrated Sprinkler for Rack Storage

본 연구에서는 랙크식 창고 화재에 대한 3년간의 조사와 실험결과를 토대로 제안된 적층형 스프링클러 시스템의 개요와 구성에 대하여 설명하였다. 랙크식 창고의 화재는 매우 신속하게 수직으로 상승하는 특징이 있다. 이에 대응하기 위해서는 극초기에 화재를 감지하고 위치를 알려줄 수 있는 인랙화재감지기를 기반으로 하여, 화재 감지 위치 부분의 송기공간을 중심으로 분포된 수직배관의 전자밸브를 관제시스템에서 판단하여 개방하고, 수직적 일제 개방과 송기공간에 대한 집중적 물 분사를 한다. 이를 통해 화재를 진압하고 피해를 감소시킬 수 있다.

In this paper, it is explained that background and formation of concentrated sprinkler system developed based on 3 years research for rack storage fire. Flame spread at rack storage fire is very rapid vertically. In order to suppression rack storage fire, in-rack fire detector is active at the ultra early stage. Electric valve distributed around fire detection position then is open by control system. After valve open, water discharges from open type concentrated sprinkler head to flue space and commodities on rack shelf. It can conduct fire suppression and reduce the loss on rack storage fire.
