학교 예술강사 지원제도 개선을 위한 교사 요구 분석

Analyzing Teachers’ Needs for Improvement of Artist Teacher Support System

본 연구는 학교 예술강사 지원제도의 실태를 파악하고, 이의 개선 방향을 모색 하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 이를 위해 학교 예술강사 지원사업 체계 및 교육 과정 연계 지원 현황을 살펴보고 학교 교사들의 요구를 조사･분석하여 학교 예술 강사 지원 사업의 실태 및 문제점을 파악하였다. 이를 바탕으로 예술강사 지원사업 개선에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 예술강사와 교사 간의 프로그램에 대한 사전 조율과 협업의 필요성, 둘째, 장기적인 안목에서의 예술강사 지원의 필요성, 셋째, 예술강사 전문성 신장 및 인식 개선을 위한 노력의 필요성, 넷째, 교사의 예술교육 역량과 전문성 강화를 위한 지원방안 및 지원체제 마련, 다섯째, 각 학교의 특색과 상황을 고려한 맞춤형 지원의 필요성, 여섯째, 기존 학교 예술 교육의 문제점에 대한 대안이나 해법 제시 등이 예술강사 지원제도 개선을 위한 시사점으로 도출되었다.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the current situation of the artist teacher support system and to search for improvement directions. For this purpose, we examined the present status of the artist teacher support system for school and the connection with national curriculum and investigated the needs of school teachers. Based on this, implications for the improvement of the artist teacher support system were derived. The results of this study are as follows: First, need for prior coordination and collaboration between artist teachers and teachers, second, the need for long - term support of artist teachers, third, the necessity of efforts to improve the professionalism of artist teachers, forth, development of support system for enhancing teachers’ competence and expertise in arts education, fifth, the need for customized support considering the characteristics and circumstances of each school, sixth, alternatives or solutions to the problems of existing school arts education.
