Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the subjective feelings and attitude toward soprano voice and the voice satisfaction at singing by using the Singing Voice Handicap Index(SVHI) in Korean. Methods: 61 singers working as soprano were conducted through mobile questionnaire. Results: The SVHI mean value of 61 soprano singers is 43.1, and soprano singers perceived that there was little problem with voice. And the average of voice satisfaction at singing was 1.98, and soprano singers were generally satisfied with their voice when singing. Conclusions: Looking at SVHI-related studies, SVHI is useful for predicting the voice problems of singers and for determining the degree of voice impairment. In this study, SVHI and voice satisfaction were assessed, but an acoustical-aerodynamic evaluation should be carried out in conjunction with the overall evaluation of the voice. In addition, since the research on the voice of domestic singers was very limited, many studies should be done in the future.
