시스템 다이내믹스를 활용한 제주항 물동량 예측

Forecasting Freight Volume of Jeju Port using System Dynamics

제주항은 지역 거점항만으로서 경제발전 정도나 인구 수, 관광객 수 등과 같은 외부 요인에 영향을 받을 수밖에 없다. 인과관계를 고려하여 제주항의 총 물동량 예측을 통한 미래 제주항 항만 수요를 파악하고, 외부 요인의 변화에 따른 제주항의 민감도 분석을 실시하였다. 활용된 요인으로 제주도 GRDP, 인구 수, 건축 허가면적, 국내 관광객 수와 같은 국내 요인과, 중국인 관광객 수, 중국 GDP와 같은 중국 영향 요인을 활용하였다. 2025년 까지의 제주항 총 물동량을 예측한 결과 지속적으로 물동량이 상승하는 것으로 분석되었다. 상승폭도 연도가 지날수록 점점 더 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 2016년 11,198,700 톤에서 2025년 20,739,900톤으로 약 2배의 증가세를 보이면서 향후 제주항의 물동량이 폭발적으로 증가할 것이라 예상되었다. 시나리오 분석 결과 중국 GDP와 국내 관광객이 Best 일 때 제주항 물동량이 최대치로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 중국 관광객이 Worst 시나리오 일 때 제주항 물동량의 감소폭이 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 민감도 분석 결과 국내의 요인보다는 중국 요인의 변화에 따라 물동량이 크게 변화하는 것으로 나타났다. 제주항 물동량 예측을 통하여 외부 요인의 영향력에 대하여 확인할 수 있었으며, 시나리오 변화에 따른 항만 운영 방안을 수립하여 효율적인 항만운영이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

Jeju Port is a regional hub port, and it is inevitably affected by external factors such as economic development, population, and number of tourists. Based on causality, we estimated the future demand of Jeju port by estimating the total freight volume and analyzed the sensitivity of Jeju port according to external factors. The utilized factors are Jeju GRDP, population, construction permission area, number of domestic tourists, chinese GDP and chinese tourist. As a result of estimating the total freight volume of Jeju port by 2025, it is analyzed that the trade volume is continuously increased. As time went on, the freight volume is increased. It is estimated that the freight volume in Jeju port is expected to increase explosively in the future, with an increase of approximately 2 times from 11,198,700 tons in 2016 to 20,739,900 tons in 2025. Scenario analysis shows that when the GDP of China and domestic tourists are the best, the freight volume of Jeju port increases to the maximum., and it is analyzed that the freight volume of Jeju port is greatly reduced when it is a WORST scenario of chinese tourists. As a result of sensitivity analysis, it is found that Freight Volume was influenced by china related factor rather than domestic factor. The influence of external factors was confirmed through forecast of freight volume of Jeju port. It is necessary to establish a port operation plan of Jeju Island according to the scenario.
