Bovine lymphosarcoma, one of the most common cattle tumors, is a systemic malignancy of lymphoreticular tissue. It is being studied in many parts of the world, partly because of its possible implications for human leukemia and partly because of economic losses to the cattle industry. The aim of this review is to provide a contemporary summary of knowledge of the bovine lyrnphosarcoma. The aspects of definition, etiology, epidemiology, clinical pathology, diagnosis, significance in public health, treatment, prevention and control of the disease have been described.
