Survey was conducted to investigate the incidence of taeniasis and eating habits of beef, pork and their viscera in Jeju people. The results obtained aer summarized as follows: 1) 131 (20.1%) out of 652 villagers were infected with taenia in rural area. 2) 122 (9.4%) were raw pork eater and 153 (11.7%) were raw beef eater among 1,304 villagers. 3) More taeniasis was observed in the raw liver and pancrease eater than another parts of viscera eater.
