The current paper aims to investigate teacher’s non-verbal communication used by distinguished English teachers in elementary schools. To this end, five distinguished 3rd grade TEE (Teaching English in English) classes on Edunet were transcribed and analyzed for their non-verbal communication using FLint (Foreign Language interaction). The findings are: First, distinguished teachers tend to use more non-verbal communication than speaking Korean. Second, non-verbal communication in distinguished TEE class is more salient in information giving, giving directions, compliment and encouragement. Lastly, different non-verbal communications are hired for different communicative functions such as hand clap, thumb up, nodding for compliment and encouragement and raising a hand for asking questions.
