Studies on the fungal medium using silkworm pupa extract and its powder

This experiment was carried out to investigate the growth of the fungi with silkworm pupa powder and extract media. It was shown that the growth of fungi were the same cultural effect in comparison with media used filtrate of the raw silkworm pupa and control media. Each concentration of the silkworm powder media, the growth of Aspergillus spp. and fungi appeared to be significant. On the media used 1.5% of soluble dried silkworm pupa powder the growth of the fungi was better than the control media. The drying weights of fungi for 7 day culture at broth used 1.5% of the soluble dried silkworm pupa powder were heavier than that of the control media and statistically it was very significant.
