Campylobacter jejuni was isolated on 17.6% of 449 chicken carcasses and on 24.1% of 278 chicken feces. The 58 cultures of C. jejuni were sensitive in order of prevalence to ampicillin(94.8%), penicielin(93.1%), kanamycin(89.7%), chloramphenicol(86.3%), neomycin(56.9%) and erythromycin(29.3%), while the 70.7% of them were resistant to erythromycin. A total of 13 patterns of multiple drug resistance of 58 cultures of C. jejuni to 6 antibiotics in general use such as APC, PC, KM, CP, NM and EM were observed and the most common multiple resistance patterns were ME, NM patterns(19%).
