Etiological studies on the dermatophytosis occurred in three pigs of a farm located in the vicinity of Daejeon city were performed and the mating types were investigated to identify the perfect form of the isolates. It was found that the causative agents were Trichophyton mentagrophytes and its perfect states were Arthroderma vanbreuseghemii ( - ). No dermatophytes was isolated from 17 pigs without skin lesions in the same farm.
