Surveys to determine the levels of trace elements in farm water have been conducted in Kyung-Ki area. Water samples were collected from the cattle, swine and poultry farm were 80 farm water and 13 waste water. The levels of calcium(Ca), cobalt(Co), sodium(Na), arsenic(As), cadmium(Cd), copper(Cu), cromium(Cr). Iron(Fe), manganese(Mn), lead(Pb), zinc(Zn), and mercury(Hg), were determined by Inductively Coupled Plasma(ICP) Spectrometry. Mean concentrations of Ca, Co and Na(mg/l) were, for farm water, 13.605±10.106, 0.0034±0.005 and 12.1013±22.917, for waste water, 19.6346±10.147, 0.0022±0.002 and 146.1780±111.475, respectively. The range of mean concentrations of harmful trace elements(mg/l) were, for farm water, 0.0l61±0.023(As), 0.0013±0.001(Cd), 0.1890±l.630(Cu), 0.0035±0.001(Cr), 0.0999±0.218(Fe), 0.0146±0.037(Mn), 0.0345±0.039(Pb), 1.2689士3.541(Zn), and 0.0029±0.016(Hg), for waste water, 0.0687±0.037(As), 0.0015土0.001(Cd), 0.0691±0.082(Cu), 0.0073±0.003(Cr), 1.1945±0.791(Fe), 0.2466±0.356(Mn), 0.0073±0.011(Pb), 0.2156±0.205(Zn), and 0.0443±0.033(Hg), respectively. From these results, the mean levels of harmful trace elements in farm water were much lower than those in the waste water.
