A study on the effects of some digestive supportives on the population of rumen ciliates in Korean native cattle and Korean native black goat was carried out. The results obtained were summarized as follows. 1. The mean pH values of rumen extracts were 6.8(6.6-7.0) in cattle and 6.3 in goat after the administration of the drugs. 2. The population of rumen ciliates increased by twice on DAT 17 in Treatment I(New Mix Cellulase) and 1.6X, 1.2X, 1.35X in the other Treatments Ⅱ to Ⅴ, respectively. In the goat it increased by 4.4X according to the administration of urea.
