豚으로부터 分離된 豚丹毒菌의 血淸型 및 抗體價에 關한 硏究

Studies on growth agglutination titer and serotypes of erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae isolated from pigs

Forty three strains of Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae were isolated from the blood of heart and the articular synovia of 487 slaughterd pigs in the area of Kangwon-Do. The biochemical properties, serotypes, antimircobial drug susceptibility and sero antibody titers were investigated. The results obtained are summarized as follows; 1. The biochemical properties revealed a degree of uniformity that can be expected with this group bacteria. 2. Among these 43 strains, 2 strains belong to serotype la, 5 strains to 1b, 24 strains to 2,2 strains to 12, respectively and 4 strains were untypable. 3. In the test of antimicrobial drug susceptibility, these bacteria were sensitive to penicillin and chloramphenicol(95.3%), ampicillin(93%) and tetracycline(90.7%). 4. In the test of sero antibody titer, the agglutinated rate on less than 16 fold in sera were shown 69.5%(119/171 pigs).
