國內 Mouse에 寄生하는 Mite(Ornithonyssus bacoti, Hirst, 1913)의 同定

Parasitic Mite (Ornithonyssus bacoti, Hirst, 1913) from Mice in Korea

Adult female has one dorsal plate which has seventeen pairs of setae and is relatively narrow and does not cover the entire dorsal surface. The sternal plate has three pairs of setae and the genitoventral plate narrows gradually to the rear. One pair of genitoventral setae is present. One pair of stigmata is present on both mid side of ventral surface. The peritreme is fused posteriorly with the fovea of coxa Ⅳ and the peritremal tube extends anteriorly to a point above coxa I through the stigmata. The anal plate is present from a little distance to the posterior end and has three setae. Considering all above morphological findings, the mite found in Taegu recently is identified as Ornithonyssus bacoti(Hirst, 1913).
