A Total of 43 strains of Campylobacter jejuni (C. jejuni) isolated from pigeons feces were examined for the susceptibility to 12 antimicrobial agents. Minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) ranges of antimicrobial agents to C. jejuni isolates were≤1.56 to 25.0ug/ml for ampicillin, ≤0.39 to 6.25ug/ml for erythromycin, kanamycin and amikacin, ≤6.25 to 50.0ug/ml for cefamendole ≤0.78 to 6.25ug/ml for chloramphenicol, ≤0.39 to 3.125ug/ml for nalidixic acid, ≤6.25 to 50.0ug/ml for penicillin, ≤1.56 to 6.25ug/ml for streptomycin, ≤6.25 to 50.0ug/ml for tetracycline. Resistance rates of C. jejuni were showed to in order of cefamendole (62.8%), tetracycline (44.2%), penicillin-G (32.6%) and ampicillin (7.0%). All of the strains were sensitive to amikacin, chloramphenicol, erythromycin, gentamycin, kanamycin, nalidixic acid, streptomycin and tobramycin.
