학습생태계 구성 체제와 성인학습자 역량 간의 구조적 분석

Learning ecosystem structure and Structural Analysis of Adult Learner Competencies

본 연구는 학습생태계 구성 체제와 성인학습자 역량 간의 구조적 모형 검정을 위하여 전국 61개의 평생교육기관 성인학습자 1,302명을 대상으로 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 학습생태계 외부체제인 지역사회참여는 성인학습자 역량에 직접적으로 영향을 미치지 않았으며 교육기관특성은 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학습생태계의 외부체제인 지역사회참여와 교육기관특성은 상호작용과 학습전략에 직·간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학습생태계의 중간체제로서 상호작용과 내부체제로서 학습전략은 성인학습자 역량에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 학습생태계의 중간체제로서 상호작용은 내부체제로서 학습전략에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 학습생태계의 외부체제가 성인 학습자 역량에 미치는 관계에서 중간체제와 내부체제는 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯 째, 학습생태계 구성 체제의 변인인 지역사회참여, 교육기관특성, 상호작용, 학습전략과 성인학습자 역량은 종합적으로 연계되어 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 평생학습사회에서 성인학습자 역량 개발을 위한 학습생태계 구축과 삶과 연계한 성인학습자 역량 향상의 지속가능성, 평생학습체제 방향 수립에 시사점을 제공한다.

In this study, structural equation modeling analysis was conducted for 1,302 adult learners at 61 lifelong educational institutions nationwide to construct models for their learning ecosystem and capacity structures. The results of this study are as follows: First, community involvement outside of the learning ecosystem has no direct impact on adult learning ability, while educational characteristics have a significant impact. Second, community participation and educational institution characteristics, which are external ecosystems for learning, directly or indirectly influence interaction and learning strategies. Third, interactions as an intermediate learning ecosystem and learning strategy as an internal system have a significant effect on adult learner competence. Fourth, interaction as an intermediate system of learning ecosystem has a significant effect on learning strategy as internal system. Fifth, the intermediate system and internal system played a mediating role in the relationship between the external learning ecosystem and adult learner competence. Sixth, it was found that community participation, educational institution characteristics, interaction, learning strategies and systems are collectively related to adult learner competency variables. The results of this study suggest implications for development of the capacity for adult learners in lifelong learning, sustainability of lifelong learner capacity building, and establishment of the learning ecosystem for the completion of lifelong learning.
