A study of estimating atmospheric stability classes for predicting air pollutant concentration

If on-site measurements of wind speed with subjectively determined insolation assessments based on hourly classes may be determined using on-site date sets. In the absence of such observations, it is recommended that atmospheric stability classes be estimated using the horizontal with direction fluctuation. Atmospheric stability classes are estimated by two methods over Kang Neung area. By comparing atmospheric stability classes estimated by two methods with those measured by instrument installed at Young Dong power Plant, it is estimated to the quality for atmospheric stability classes estimated by statistical methods.
