서울 近郊 牧場水의 衛生化學的 分布 狀態

Physiochemical analysis of farm water in the suburb of seoul

In order to investigate the hygienic chemical quality of farm-water in the suburb of Seoul, we examined pH, color, turbidity, KMnO₄ consumption, total hardness, chlorine, sulfate, NH₃-N, NO₃-N, lead, iron, manganese, copper and zinc in 86 farm-waters of Kwangju, Namyangju, and Paju-gun. The results were as follows : 1. The pH of 86 farm-waters was 6.6±0.05, color 1.22±0.27, turbidity 0.65±0.09, KMnO₄ consumption 4.15±0.37mg/L, totoal hardness 93.16±6.18mg/L, chlorine 14.98± 1.22mg/L, sulfate 12.72±1.34mg/L, NH₃-N 0.08±0.01mg/L, NO₃-N 7.22±0.65mg/L, lead 0.001±0.0007mg/L, iron 0.005±0.001mg/L, manganese 0.005±0.002mg/L, copper 0.003±0.001mg/L, and zinc 0.0067±0.0008mg/L, respectively. 2. Of the 86 farm-waters tested, thirty five waters(40.7%) were inappropriate to criteria for drinking water. 3. Twenty six waters(30.2%) were inappropriate to criteria for NH₃-N, 7(8.1%) for color, 5(5.8%) for KMnO₄ consumption, 2(2.3%) for pH and turbidy, 1(1.2%) for NH₃-N, respectively. 4. Of the 35 inappropriate waters for drinking water, twenty three(65.7%) were inappropriate to only NO₃-N, 4(11.4%) to only color, 2(5.7%) to only pH, 1 to only turbidity, KMnO₄ consumption, 4tests, 3tests and 2tests, respectively.
