Haemophilus parasuis균의 생화학적 특성과 분리균의 혈청학적 분류에 관한 연구

Biochemical properties of H. parasuis and serological classification of the Isolates

The studies on the antigenic properties and serological classification of Haemopilus parasuis, the causative agent of the porcine polyserosites and arthritis(Glässer disease), isolated from pig farm In Chungnam and Kyonggi areas were carried out. The biochemical properties, seroagglutination test, agar gel precipitation test(AGPT) and absorption test of the isolates and reference strains were examined. Sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(SDS-PAGE), Immunoblotting and drugs sensitivity were also compared the reactions with them. The results obtained were summarized as follows ; 1. The strains of 5 reference and 8 isolates were showed in identical properties with them besides one isolate. 2. When the 8 isolates were serotyped by the AGPT, three strains were typed to serotype 5, two strains to serotype 2, one strain to serotype 3 and remains one to serotype 4, respectively. 3. By the serological analysis of the organisms isolated from both areas, the strains of Muyoung 21, Muyoung 38 and Sajo 3 were typed to serotype 5 seemed to be higher pathogenic condition. However the strains seems to be lower pathogenic condition were typed to serotype 2 in Asan 21 and Asan 23, serotype 3 to Onyang C, and serotype 4 in Sajo 5. 4. Because of the serotype 3 antigen of reference strains revealed the cross-reactions against antisera 3 and 5, these mixed antigens were removed by the absorption test.
