Fifty six wild rats, Rattus norvegicus, were caught from Seoul, Kangwon, Kyonggi, Cholla, and Kyongsang provinces in Korea. All of them were classified as subadult, young adult, middle-aged adult, and old adult. Five external and 27 cranial characters of them to be collected were statistically analyzed. Significant morphorlogic difference between sexes was not revealed except postpalatine length (p＜0.05). Significant morphometric change of cranial and external characters was reveal as grows older.
