These studies were performed to survey on the infection rates, to identify the isolates and to investigate the life cycle of monogenetic trematodes in freshwater fishes collected from fish culture farms. The results obtained were as follows.: 1. From the total of 1,229 fishes, the mean of infection rate of gill fluke was 62.2%. 2. The gill flukes isolated from eel, carps and kissing gurami were identified as Pseudodactylogyrus spp., Dactylogyrus spp. and Trianchoratus spp., respectively. 3. Distribution rate of between Pseudodactylogyrus bini and Pseudodactylocyrus anguillae in genus Pseudodactylogyrus isolated from eels showed 54% and 46%, respectively. 4. One cycle of life span took 13~16 days. It took 5~6 days to development from egg to onchomiracidium and 8~9days to mature from onchomiracidium to adult at 28℃.
