일제강점기 자전의 한글 표기법 양상 연구

The aspect of Korean writing system under Japanese colonization

일제 강점기의 국어는 근대후기 국어와 현대국어를 잇는 과도기로서, 두 시기의 표기상의 특징이 혼재하고 있다. 이 시기에 출판된 근대적 성격을 띤 한자 자전의 한글 뜻풀이 표기 방식은 현대국어 표기법이 점진적으로 형성되는 과정을 보여주고 있다. 본고는 일제강점기 자전의 한글 뜻풀이를 국어의 음운 현상과 연계시켜 그 표기 양상과 특징을 살펴봄으로써 당시의 한자 자전이 지닌 자료적 가치와 시대적 위상을 재조명하고자 한다.

Korean language in the Japanese colonial era, which is the transition period that connects post-modern with modern is characterized by its mixed orthography that appear in both periods. The orthography shown in the definitions written in Korean in the Chinese character dictionary that is modernistic and published in this period represents the process that modern Korean language orthography is progressively formed. This paper aims to connect the definitions in Korean in the Chinese character dictionary in the Japanese colonial era with Korean phonological phenomenon to examine the notational patters and characteristics and shed new light on the value and periodic status of then-Chinese character dictionary as academic data.
