The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of early childhood philosophy education activities based on Six Paramitas( ) on children’s metacognition and linguistic expressiveness. For this purpose, 40 children aged five from two child education institutions located in G city(20 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group) were selected for the study. The collected data were analyzed with independent sample t test between groups by using the SPSS/PC(win 28.0) program to examine the effect of the research questions on the metacognition and linguistic expressiveness of the children. The results of the study showed that the metacognition and linguistic expressiveness scores of the experimental group were statistically higher than the control group. Thus, the results of this study imply that the early childhood philosophy education activities based on Six Paramitas of this study positively affected the metacognition and linguistic expressiveness of children, and suggest the possibility of early childhood philosophy education activities based on Six Paramitas in early childhood education.
