『小有亭題詠』 詩의 장소성 연구

A Study on the Placeness of the Poems in 『Soyujeong Jeyeong』

본 연구의 목적은 『小有亭題詠』을 알리고, 『소유정제영』에 수록된 漢詩에 나타나는 장소성과 그 의미를 알아보려는 데 있다. 『소유정제영』은 ‘小有亭’을 건립한 松潭 蔡應麟(1529~1584)의 <題詠本韻>과 그 本韻(詩)에 次韻한 방문객들의 詩가 필사되어 있는 ‘題詠錄’이다. 『소유정제영』에 차운시를 남긴 이들의 면면은 크게 관료와 대구ㆍ영남지방을 중심으로 활동한 유학자의 두 부류로 나눌 수 있다. 관직자들이 차운시로 드러낸 ‘소유정’에 대한 장소성은 공적 유대에 의한 장소성으로 볼 수 있다. 대구ㆍ영남 학맥의 중심인물이 처음 건립한 장소인 ‘소유정’을 방문하여 차운시를 남김으로써, 공적 유대를 강화하려는 마음을 담은 것이다. 관직자들은 차운시에서 경치에 대한 칭송뿐만 아니라 주인에 대한 칭송과 환대를 받았다는 점까지 모두 드러내어 ‘소유정’의 위상을 높이고 경영자에 대한 예의까지 표현하려 했다. 대구ㆍ영남지방 유학자들의 시에서 드러나는 장소성은 사적 유대에서 비롯한 장소성으로 볼 수 있다. 대구ㆍ영남지방 유학자들에게 ‘소유정’은 ‘채응린을 잇는 학맥 혹은 그 일원’이라는 정체성을 확인할 수 있는 장소였다. 그런 까닭에 승경에 대한 무조건적 칭송을 드러내기보다는 오히려 스승의 가르침을 좇는다는 뜻을 담았다. ‘소유정’의 건립자 채응린의 시에 차운한 시를 남기는 일은 학맥의 일원임을 스스로도 확인하고 타자들을 향하여도 드러내 보이는 일이었기 때문이다.

The purpose of this research is to let people know about 『Soyujeong Jeyeong』 and to study the placeness and its meaning appeared in the Chinese poems recorded in 『Soyujeong Jeyeong』. 『Soyujeong Jeyeong』 is an archive of hand-written copies of poems from <Jeyeongbonun>, which was published by Songdam Chae Eungnin (1529~1584) who constructed the pavilion ‘Soyujeong’, and poems composed by visitors who followed original rhymes. The visitors can be divided into two groups; the governmental officials and local Confucian scholars in Daegu and Yeongnam area. The placeness appeared in poems of governmental officials can be regarded as placeness by official relationship. The poems show intention to strengthen official relationship with local influential people by exposing the hospitality they had got during their visit to ‘Soyujeong’ which was constructed by a leading scholar in the area. The placeness appeared in poems of local Confucian scholars can be regarded as placeness by personal relationship. The pavilion ‘Soyujeong’ was a place that could confirm the identity of local scholars as members of scholastic lineage succeeding to Chae Eungnin. Composition of poems using rhymes from poems of Chae Eungnin who constructed ‘Soyujeong’ was an action to confirm their own identity as members of the scholastic lineage for themselves as well as declaring it to other people.
