Sensitivity and cost efficiency between TTC-Ⅱ and Delvotest SP were compared as a screening test of residual antibiotics with spiked milk samples. TTC-Ⅱ could detect minimal residual limit(MRL) levels of penicilline, oxytetracycline, sulfadiazine and sulfamerazine, but not in case of sulfamethazine, sulfadimethoxine, sulfamonomethoxine, sulfaquinoxalin, sulfathiazol. Delvotest SP could detect the MRL levels of all the antibiotics tested in this presentation except sulfamethazine. In view of cost-benefits, Delvotest SP is more available for the screening methods of the antibiotics residues in milk. Since the MRL of sulfamethazine is lower than the detection limit of all the known microbial screening methods, there needs a reformation of system to protect it’s residue in milk.
