한국어 학습자의 종결어미화된 연결어미 사용 실태 연구:‘-거든’을 중심으로

The study on the usage of Korean learners in final endingization connective ending:focous on ‘-geodeun’

본 연구는 한국어 학습자의 종결어미화된 연결어미 ‘-거든’의 사용실태를 파악하기에 목적을 둔다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위해서 선행연구를 참고하면서 ‘-거든’의 각 의미기능들을 재정리하고 학습자 말뭉치에서 ‘-거든’의 각 의미기능이 어떻게 실현되고 있고 어떤 오류 현상이 있는지 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 초급 학습자들이 [사실설명]과 [이유제시] 두 가지 의미기능만 파악하고 있고, 중급 학습자들이 초급 때보다 ‘-거든’의 [주장] 의미기능을 더 파악하게 되는 것으로 보이다. 고급 학습자들이 ‘-거든’의 모든 의미기능을 거의 다 파악하고 있고 각 의미기능의 사용 빈도도 한국인 원어민과 비슷하게 나온다. 그러나 학습자들의 ‘-거든’ 사용양상에서 많은 오류현상도 발견하게 되었다. 초급 학습자들이 ‘-거든’을 부적절하게 사용하는 경우들이 많이 발견되었고 중, 고급 학습자들이 ‘-거든’을 사용해야 할 자리에서 사용하지 않거나 ‘-거든’을 짧은 발화에서 반복적으로 사용하는 오류현상도 많이 발생하였다. 학습자의 이런 오류현상들의 주요 원인은 교수-학습 과정에서 주요 역할을 하고 있는 교재에서 ‘-거든’의 의미기능이 제시 되어 있지 않거나 제대로 제시되어 있지 않은 것으로 추정되었다.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the use of final endingization connective ending -geodeun by Korean learners. In order to achieve this goal, we reorganize each semantic function of -geodeun from preceding study, and realized the use aspect and the error cases in the learner corpus. The results is, beginning learners are only aware of [fact explain], [cause presentation] two meanings, and intermediate learners are more likely to understand the meaning of the -geodeun than the beginning learners. Advanced learners understand almost all of the meaning functions of -geoduen’, and the frequency of use of each meaning function is similar to native Korean speakers. However, many errors cases of ‘-geodeun’ were also found in learners corpus. There are a number of cases is improperly used by beginning learners, and -geodeun is not used in the areas where it should be used, and use ‘-geodeun’ repeatably in a short combution by intermediate and advanced learners. The main cause of these errors was the lack of – or poorly presented semantic function in the student-learning materials.
