The Factors Affecting Concrete Fear of Crime in Juvenile

이 연구는 청소년의 구체적 범죄 두려움에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 한국형사정책연구원의 청소년 범죄피해조사 자료를 활용하여 잠재계층분석(Latent Class Analysis)을 이용하였다. 구체적 범죄 두려움에 대한 응답을 통해 집단을 분류한 결과를 살펴보면, ‘두려움 없음 집단’, ‘재산·폭력 범죄 두려움 집단’, ‘괴롭힘범죄 두려움 집단’, 그리고 ‘전체범죄 두려움 집단’으로 분류되었다. 각 집단의 특성을 범죄피해경험, 무질서, 사회적 관계, 그리 고 취약성으로 설명하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 범죄 두려움 유무에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 재산·폭력범죄 피해, 괴롭힘범죄 피해, 물리적 무질서, 사회적 관계 만족, 성별, 그리고 월 평균 가구소득이 영향을 미치고 있었다. 재산·폭력범죄 두려움 집단은 재산·폭력범죄 피해, 물리적 무질서, 그리고 성별이 영향을 미치고 있었다. 괴롭힘 범죄 두려움에 대해서는 재산·폭력범죄 피해, 괴롭힘범죄 피해, 물리적 무질서, 사회적 관계 만족, 그리고 성별이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 전체범죄 두려움에는 사회적 무질서, 물리적 무질서, 부모 애착, 사회적 관계 만족, 성별, 그리고 월 평균 가구소득이 영향을 미치고 있었다. 전반적으로 범죄 두려움에는 범죄 피해와 물리적 무질서, 그리고 성별이 영향을 미치고 있었다. 특히 전체범죄 두려움에 대해서는 부모 애착이나 사회적 관계 만족이 영향을 미치고 있어, 청소년 범죄 두려움이 부모의 이타적 범죄 두려움이나 소외감에도 영향을 받고 있었다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors affecting concrete fear of crime in juvenile. For this study, I analyzed the latent class analysis using Juvenile Victimization in Korea of Korean Institute of Criminology. The results of latent class analysis are as follows: The fear group was classified as ‘fearless group’, ‘property/violent fear of crime group’, ‘harassment fear of crime group’, and ‘overall fear of crime group’. The characteristics of each group are explained by crime victimization, incivility, social relation, and vulnerability. The results of this study showed that factors affecting the fear of crime were property/violent crime, harassment crime, physical incivility, social relationship satisfaction, gender, and household income. Property/violent fear of crime group was affected by property/violent crime, physical incivility, and gender. For harassment fear of crime, property/violent crime, harassment crime, physical incivility, social relationship satisfaction, and gender were found to affect. The overall fear of crime group was affected by social/physical incivility, parental attachment, social relationship satisfaction, gender, and household income. Overall, fear of crime was affected by victimization, physical incivility, and gender. In particular, fear of crime in juvenile was influenced by altruistic fear of crime from parents and isolation.
