M.K.Tsebrikova entered the Russian culture as critic, publicist, prose writer, translator. She attempted to influence the government with his pen. Written in 1889 accusatory “Letter to Emperor Alexander III” the writer considered his greatest work. In her letter, the writer proposed a path of reform and the eradication of administrative arbitrariness. This text was analyzed by the revolutionary wing of our society (V.Zasulich) and even criticized for its alleged moderation (G.V.Plekhanov, S.Vengerov), but it was very popular among revolutionary youth.
