이 연구는 KGSP 대학원생의 한국어연수에서 나타난 문제점에 대해 살피고 이를 해결하기 위한 교육과정을 제안하는 데 목적을 둔다. 현재 KGSP에서는 한국어연수를 하는 1년 동안에 토픽 3급을 취득해야만 지원한 대학원에서 공부할 수 있게 했다. 이들에게는 대학원 수학을 위한 학문 목적 한국어교육과 이에 적절한 평가가 필요한 데, 현재 시행하고 있는 토픽은 일반 목적 한국어를 위한 시험으로서 대학원에서 공부해야 하는 KGSP에는 적절하지 않아 학생들이 평가에 부담을 가지며, 토픽 시험에 치중하느라 학문 목적 한국어교육이 제대로 이루어지지 않는 문제가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 이 연구에서는 KGSP 한국어연수 교육과정 구성을 제안한 다. 총 1년의 학습 기간 중 한국어 중급 수준에 이르는 9개월까지는 의사소통 중심의 일반 목적 한국어를 교육하고, 후반기 3개월 동안은 학문 목적 한국어교육을 중점적 으로 한다. 학문 목적 한국어에서는 전공 지식 학습을 위한 어휘, 문법 등과 대학원 수업에서 필요한 프레젠테이션, 토론하기, 리포트 쓰기 등에 대하여 교육한다. KGSP 한국어연수 교육과정 마련은 학습자 변인이 다양해지고 있는 시점에서 한국 어교육의 지평을 넓혀 주는 효과가 있을 뿐만 아니라 외국의 우수한 인재를 교육해서 우리나라를 돕는 친한 세력으로 키우는 기회가 된다.

This study examines the problems in graduate students Korean language training in KGSP. And to propose a curriculum. Currently, KGSP is required to acquire TOPIK Level 3 during the first year of Korean language training before studying at a supported graduate school. However, the current TOPIK is a test for general purpose Korean. It is not appropriate for KGSP to study at graduate school. In addition, they need Korean education for academic purposes for graduate studies. This study proposes the KGSP Korean language training curriculum. We will train communication-oriented general-purpose Korean until 9 months, which is the intermediate level of the Korean language, during the one-year study period. During the second half of the semester, students will focus on Korean language studies for academic purposes. Academic Purpose In Korean, students will be taught about vocabulary and grammar for studying knowledge, presentations, discussions, and writing reports. The provision of KGSP Korean language training curriculum not only has the effect of expanding the horizon of Korean language education at the time when the variable of the learner is diversified, but also it can educate foreign talented person and develop it as friendly power to help Korea.
